Our first trips and first experiences…

Chapter 3

On the next day or our last day in Langkawi Island,we all try our new experienced is it Kerabu Bronok or Bronok Salad..Kerabu bronok is actually a local salad in which the main ingredient is bronok, a type of 'timun laut' (sea cucumber that some Malaysians consider having medicinal values) that can be found only in Langkawi.

To those who have tried this salad explain the bronok as being a bit chewy but crunchy and soft.

The raw bronok is slippery to hold and is either dark chocolate (when mature) or pinkish (when young) in colour.

The salad is unique as it is not cooked and has to be eaten raw. If the bronok is cooked, it will simply melt away and turn into a salty liquid akin to salt water.

It is advisable not to go in for a glimpse of the bronok in its original form. Some may not be able to eat the salad as the bronok's actually appears much like a giant leech.

The salad can accompany rice and other dishes.

After we get this dishes,we go out for SHOPPING!!!!!!!!!
We go to Uptown and buy a lot of chocolate..nyummy!!Half of us also buy a bag and gift to bringing back to hometown. Then,we go back to our homestay and get ready to packed ir stuff and also back to Kota  Bharu for contnued our class on the next day.

Assalamualaikum. my name is Noryusma Sahira Bt. Rossli. Today i want to share about Ghost museum in Pulau Pinang. This museum was very interesting, you can explore "The Ghost World" in there.

It's been a while since I last visited all these attractions in Penang though I've seen so many of them coming up so attractive and fun.

Penang Ghost Museum is one of the latest attractions in Penang featuring the horror and myth of all evils and ghosts especially legend stories in Malaysia.
For some gorehound (Someone who fancy gore stuff) like me, I'm definitely attracted to the theme of the museum seeing so many pictures on their Facebook page and also pictures uploaded by friends.

Penang Ghost Museum is located at one of the less busy street of George Town, which is known as Lebuh Melayu. This whole street has fully occupied with local shops or some abandoned houses so Penang Ghost Museum is rather stand out on this street.

this museum was very interesting and scary. there are many types of ghost there, like "puntianak", "orang minyak", "hantu pokok pisang", "penanggal", "kappa", "juon", vampire, witch and so much more.

there have 2 ways to enter the museum. by maps or by the tour guide. the tour guide will tell you the story of the ghost in that museum.

COME TO THIS MUSEUM AND FEEL THE GHOST WORLD

4 Tips on Budget Traveling with Choking

During the recent Krabi ni, we met with two men from Malaysia in Hatyai train station.
Friendly and sweet person. Apparently, this was their first time to travel out of Malaysia.
They asked us how we budget to get there?
My answer, in approximately RM430 I switched to the baht. That the budget for the transport of Hatyai to Krabi return, lodging, meals and tours that we took there.
These costs do not include KL bus to Hatyai Hatyai and train tickets for the return journey to KL.
He was surprised. With RM430 enough to travel 4 days 5 nights?
We asked him how the expense?
With a face full of sadness, she said lodging alone is $ 1200, shared both.
Oh ...
I do not want to question any person or budget holiday accommodation options. Each is entitled to a vacation in a backpack or a luxury vacation.
But when you see the resentment of people who want to learn new travel abroad and actually really want to save money, we at I Backpacker compelled to share basic tips on how to save without wandering through tour packages.
The biggest cost is in the relaxation or adventure
1) transport to the destination
2) accommodation
3) the cost of the activities in the destination
4) eat.

1) Transportation Costs
For the cost of transport, if you want to save, use the express bus or cheap flights. Checks on the site itself or play low click-click on the webwww.skyscanner.com or www.kayak.com. You can download apps to your mobile phone, so it's a cheap ticket mudah.Cari play or set a date for this website feel free to email you if there are changes in the price of the fare for your desired date.

Besides finding airline tickets from Kuala Lumpur, consider also the opposite ticket from Johor Bahru or Singapore. Sometimes tickets from two destinations more economically. From KL to JB or Singapore, the bus ride alone.

2) Accommodation
For your budget ni choke, if any friends or relatives living in the city where you want to go, may overlap only sleep in their homes. There is that if immediate family members to go to study or work there. What else .. grab a chance for this.
Free accommodation. Just bring groceries Malaysia is there to be cooked together or as souvenirs. Eg tom yam paste, curry Maggie, floss, rice cake soon, ketchup fan shrimp or whatever materials Malaysian cuisine is difficult to obtain in the country tu. Sure host smiled happily.
In addition to the host that we already know, can also consider staying in someone else's house to sleep through the website www.couchsurfing.com. This site brings together people who love to travel and are willing to place his or room sofa in her home to travelers.
Do not forget to read the review traveler or host it before agreeing to stay at his home or receive visits. Essentially helping free. Today you ride the ride sleep, tomorrow you may also live with people.
But for Muslims, preferably looking for host women also make it easier for you to keep your private parts and mixing.
If staying at the hotel, choose a backpacker hostel or budget hotel only. Needless-star hotels. If you're traveling solo, in twos and threes, you can stay in a hostel dorm only. If you have more budget, may stay in the private room.
There are dorm and private room available its own bathroom. There is a shared bathroom outside.
Note also other facilities such as locker, if the dorm, tv, aircond or just a fan, towels and wifi available in the room or in the lobby only.
For women, female dorm can find. However, in some developing countries, women's dorm is rare or if there is already a lot more expensive.
Find and book accommodation that meets your budget online. Among the well-known sites and that I always use is www.booking.com, and www.hostelbookers.com www.agoda.com. In addition, the website also famous airbnb.com if you want to rent a house hold.
But in some places in Indonesia or developing countries, an inn for a walk in or book by telephone direct to the hostel / hotel is less than book online.
When me and my family to France, we booked a caravan at the campground only. Although small and simple, it is much more charm.

3) The cost of an activity in the destination.
These costs include the cost of transportation to travel or ticket / charge for some activities at the destination. It also includes admission to the museum, park or sea entrance fee to the world heritage site.
For who wants to save money, make a study of how the right taxi, tuk-tuk or rickshaw to get to one destination. Avoid contact with tap.
If you need to rent a boat, survey boat before in all the existing operators. Get the best price. If rents boats, discussion with friends or other travelers are looking for a gang to share the cost of rent.
If you need to rent a car there, go in the number of three, four or seven. It's so easy you rent a normal car or a SUV that can be filled by a maximum of six or seven children.
If you go five, totally wrong. Want to hire a car does not fit. Rent two expensive cars, Hire a MPV was much empty.

4) Eat
Then tu dah budget, do not eat it at an expensive restaurant. We recommend that you bring fast food from Malaysia to accommodate at least breakfast or dinner. Can bring Maggie, instant porridge, talismans and any food

Enjoy your trips!!!!

What is Game Tourism?

Game Tourism is playing a game with the primary aim of exploring its world, without engaging in any active conflict such as combat or stealth. Whether conflict is bypassed with cheats, mods, or built-in functionality, the aim is to refocus attention on the game's architecture, aesthetics, storytelling, and atmosphere. Feel free to think of it as a form of art modding or glitching.

Unreal Gold - Nyleve's Falls

Why Game Tourism?

Violent conflict has been a primary focus of mainstream games for decades now. Many great works have come from exploration in this domain, but the narrow focus and creative constraints that violent conflict imposes on design mean that for a long time games left unfulfilled much of their potential to depict the breadth of human experience.
More recently games like Proteus, Dear Esther, Gone Home, and The Stanley Parable present 3D game worlds recognizably descended from first person shooter games but give players goals that completely forego violent conflict. Dubbed "walking simulators" with varying degrees of derision, the success of many such wander games suggest that people do hunger for such experiences - a world, compellingly presented, can stand on its own as an interactive statement.
Tourism looks at games that do foreground violent conflict through a filter that gives us clearer understanding of the aspects of their design that do not depend on said conflict - again, focusing on architecture, aesthetics, storytelling, and atmosphere - while also making it clear what goes missing. Celebration and analysis of these things can light the way for future exploration of our medium.
The result is often strange to play, sometimes a very non-idealized experience. The more deeply a game has combat, ambushes, tactical space etc wired into it, the more a tourist play through will feel the uncanniness of the conflict excised. The goal is experimental, though: not seeking to match the experience of an intentionally designed "wander game", but to subvert, to transform, to reveal the overshadowed.
Like tool-assisted speendrunning and other forms of glitching, it's also important to keep a sense of humor about this: you're hacking a game so you can enjoy it in a very specific way. That's kinda weird, right?

17 REASON WHY WE SHOULD TRAVEL

    Around the world travel

  1. It opens your eyes – If you are open to it, travel will simply make you a more well-rounded human being. Which is really the goal, isn’t it? If you don’t know where to start check out our Around The World Planning Guide.
  2. Learn who you are – Traveling with all the challenges it presents and opportunities, let’s you discover who you are in a way that only the road brings.
  3. It will create meaningful relationships – People you meet while on the road usually become some of the most valued ones in your address book, giving you points on the map to visit later on. These folks give you a glimpse outside your hometown circle of friends, forcing you into new and refreshing perspectives on things.
  4. It will develop skills you didn’t know you had – The satisfaction you get when reaching the top of the mountain, or crossing a gorge, or helping a villager clean up after a storm, or simply getting what you wanted at restaurant in rural China, these things all allow access to skill sets you didn’t know you had.
  5. Learn new languages – There’s something satisfying about being able to throw around a few words of Greek, knowing how to say hello and thanks in Thai, pulling out that long dormant Spanish to book a room in Santiago, or simply hearing a language you didn’t know existed just a few weeks before.
  6. Gives you adventure – No one looks back fondly on a trip to the dry-cleaner. But after ziplining over the jungle canopy in Peru, successfully navigating the alleys of Marrakech, the speedboat ride in New Zealand, or Jeeping out with the grazing animals in Tanzania you get a feel for what being an active human being is like (again). The need for adventure is hardwired; travel lets you tap into it.
  7. Gives you perspective – Meeting folks from exotic cultures will teach you that the way you look at the world (perhaps through the lens of mass media) is not the way everybody does it. That you could in fact be dead wrong about it. Seeing it for yourself brings a healthy dose of reality to your so-called higher thinking.
  8. As a transition – If you happen to be between jobs, schools, kids, or relationships, around the world travel can be a perfect way to separate these life stages, give you insight into your next phase and provide closure on the last one. Plus there’ll be a nice time stamp on that moment in your life.
  9. For education – Seeing the world provides a source of education absolutely impossible get in school, teaching you things like economy, politics, history, geography and sociology. While not an accredited institution, the school of travel is currently taking applications.
  10. The challenge – Getting your daily Starbucks not nearly interesting enough for you? How about finding an address in downtown Tokyo. Travel is full of moment of joy and challenges. Overcoming the challenges will give you some of the greatest joys of all.
  11. To do something new – It sucks to be stuck in a rut. Everyone knows what that’s like. Travel can be the perfect solution. And what’s not new about being in Bolivia? Go ahead and plan your idea route Around The World.
  12. Dreams come true – If you want to do it now you’ve probably always wanted to. You imagined it, daydreamed about it, envisioned it. Guess what? Now’s the time to do it. We have put together some special to inspire you to live your dreams.
  13. The cool stories – Don’t fancy yourself a storyteller? If anyone says “why travel” at a party, you’ll be able to outline why with any one of the many travel stories you’ll come home with. Even if they seemed trivial when they happened, nostalgia will create a epic spin around getting your laundry done in Zanzibar.
  14. You will eat food like you never have – Yes, you will be constantly surprised at the flavors the world has to offer.
  15. To prove to yourself you can – If you’re the kind of person to dream big, and simply by reading this website you’ve proven that you are, you’re probably also the kind to reach for new challenges. Finishing a trip gives you the satisfaction that you were able to accomplish what you set out to do. And to give you energy to set up the next challenge too.
  16. Just for the hell of it – Why travel? Because you can. Why not pick up your ticket and set the ball rolling

We all move to the ticket counter to buy ferry tickets. we wait for the ferry in 15 minutes, when she reached the ferry we all began to get into the ferry that many people at that time. In 1 hour and 20 minutes we had already arrived at the jetty langkawi. Arriving just Langkawi Jetty we were pleased by our homestay hosts will be staying during our holiday. Once we arrived at the homestay we all began to relax and started to discuss regulating step of the way to our activities for the next day.

The next day we got up early and had breakfast . get ready him to lead our activities where we will go island hopping. island hopping package that pushes 3 is visiting the island which was named Tasik Dayang Bunting, the island and the island of wet rice to feed the eagles. Throughout our journey where we all have a boat that is very fast and without us realizing we all sang together by speed boat. Once the first course on the island, namely the island Tasik Dayang Bunting we were given two hours to swim in the lake. before the entrance to Tasik Dayang Bunting we were greeted by a group of monkeys who were waiting to get food from everyone. Once we have passed from a group of apes that we have to climb stairs to get to the lake. Once he lake we had rented a life jacket for safety because before we go through this activity we have made experiments that Tasik Dayang Bunting has no basis in the plan. so after we all had to wear a life jacket we all jumped massacred there occurs a life jacket where our friends are opened, and he did not know how to swim. we all work together to save our friends who almost drowned. after we managed to save our friends that we continue the activities that have been planned ...

So far our story this week ... continue…

The honesty straight from my heart. =)

Assalammualaikum wbt

Today,
Feel free to share my own best travel tips at the end!

1. Patience Is Important

Don’t sweat the stuff you can’t control. Life is much too short to be angry & annoyed all the time. Did you miss your bus? No worries, there will be another one. ATMs out of money? Great! Take an unplanned road trip over to the next town and explore. Sometimes freakouts happen regardless.
Just take a deep breath and remind yourself that it could be worse.

2. Wake Up Early

Rise at sunrise to have the best attractions all to yourself while avoiding crowds. It’s also a magical time for photos due to soft diffused light, and usually easier to interact with locals. Sketchy areas are less dangerous in the morning too. Honest hardworking people wake up early; touts, scammers, and criminals sleep in.

3. Laugh At Yourself

You will definitely look like a fool many times when traveling to new places. Rather than get embarrassed, laugh at yourself. Don’t be afraid to screw up, and don’t take life so seriously.
Once a whole bus full of Guatemalans laughed with glee when I forced our driver to stop so I could urgently pee on the side of the road. Returning to the bus and laughing with them gave me new friends for the rest of the journey.

4. Stash Extra Cash

Cash is king around the world. To cover your ass in an emergency, make sure to stash some in a few different places. I recommend at least a couple hundred dollars worth. If you lose your wallet, your card stops working, or the ATMs run out of money, you’ll be glad you did.
Some of my favorite stash spots include socks, under shoe inserts, a toiletry bag, around the frame of a backpack, even sewn behind a patch on your bag.

5. Meet Local People

Make it a point to avoid other travelers from time to time and start conversations with local people. Basic English is spoken widely all over the world, so it’s easier to communicate with them than you might think, especially when you combine hand gestures and body language.
Learn from those who live in the country you’re visiting. People enrich your travels more than sights do.
